Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are all from a low income area in Los Angeles. The majority of students have no access to technology at home. A tablet would expose them to interactive activities and engaging lessons. My students would also be able to gain real life experience through the use of a tablet.

My students are ambitious and enthusiastic, they crave learning.

They see school as a safe environment where they are able to learn and try new challenges without any fears. A tablet would help me to continue challenging my students and exposing them to endless possibilities.

My Project

A tablet would allow my third graders to learn with interactive activities and lessons that would make learning both motivational and fun! A tablet would allow my English Language Learners a better opportunity to access core curriculum in all subjects throughout the day. In addition, a tablet would be used to differentiate lessons in small groups, where every student would have the opportunity to to be exposed to technology and become life long learners.

Please, help my class stay excited and motivated and continue to do their best and strive for greatness.
