My Students

We are in desperate need of sharpeners that won't get lost!

Our school is in a high poverty area of West Virginia.

The kids are great. They are consistently polite, down to earth, and hard-working. Above all, they are resourceful. But when I caught a student sharpening his pencil with a pair of scissors, it was simply the last straw! We need sharpeners!

My Project

I have purchased little handheld sharpeners several times in an effort to meet our day-to-day needs, but they are often lost. We need mountable sharpeners that can be placed throughout my large lab room. In addition we need a few sharpeners to exclusively be used for colored pencils because we do a lot of projects and lessons that require coloring. I have requested a few boxes of pencils to go with our sharpeners as well.

Please help us in our endeavor.

You will save us a lot of instructional time by ensuring that lessons do not begin with a 10 minute sharpener-hunt. Thank you so much in advance. We really appreciate the help!
