My Students

My students are very motivated readers. They LOVE reading a book, take a quiz, and earning points for the questions they get right. I would LOVE to reward them by providing them something new and fun to read with. It will also give them access to more technology which is always a good thing!

We are a Title One School in Alabama.

I have 17 second graders. They are motivated readers and such sweet kids. They LOVE to read. If I let them read all day, they would. They even take books with them to lunch and pe. When they have free time in class for good behavior, I find most of them reading instead of coloring and playing games. I would love for them to be rewarded for their passion for learning and reading.

My Project

My students love to read and have the most accelerated readers points in our grade level at this school. They are motivated readers and I want to reward them for their hard work. The Nooks would be something fun for them to read with. Most of them do not have any technology at home so the only time they use technology is here at school. I know they get tired of reading the books I have in my classroom so this would make reading interesting and fun for them.

My students are such good readers and this will make reading fun and different for them.

Instead of reading the same books over and over again in my classroom, I could download thousands of books on the two Nooks I've requested.
