This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students do not have books that they can enjoy and read in the classroom or take home to share with their families. We are a kindergarten class with no functioning cd player or listening station and we need a place to read comfortably .

My students are enthusiastic learners who are learning to read, write, and speak in two languages.

They are bright kindergartners who are filled with energy. They lack the resources necessary in order to improve their language skills. Our schools lacks Spanish materials and technology needed in our classroom.

My Project

My students need bilingual books such as Spanish Sight Word Readers, and Spanish Emergent Reader that they can enjoy to read in the classroom and at home. Plus they need a comfortable place to read and listen to stories, a Comfy Couch and a Boombox. With these resources, students will be able to have a nice place to read their most desired bilingual books. They will have the opportunity to share those resources with their parents. They will be able to learn to read books at their level. Most importantly they will be able to enjoy a variety of books.

With these resources my students will have the opportunity to read books they can enjoy with one another and their parents.

These resources will provide them with the opportunity to love reading.
