Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you want to play a game with me? When I begin my lessons with that question the students are always more engaged. They love "winning" and it's a bonus if "winning" means they are learning at the same time.

My 21 kindergarten students are excited to learn new things, but like all children it's difficult to hold their attention for long periods of time.

If I can make learning fun by using games and puzzles, the children will be more eager to learn and get more out of my lessons.

My Project

Games and puzzles will help create an interest in learning and help prepare my Kindergartners for first grade. With these puzzles and games my students will practice their alphabet, high frequency words and numbers. They can also practice phonics activities to help them begin to read.
