My Students

Do you know what it is like to never go anywhere? My students do not go places; they cannot afford to go.

My students are special needs students.

They perform in classes to the best of their abilities, however they need to learn basic skills because of their disabilities. They have gone on trips this year that they would not typically go on, nor would teachers typically want to take them on. We live in a rural, low income area.

My Project

This school year they have been going on trips and the trips need to be documented and photographed. The pictures that will be taken will help to preserve the memories of the trips that they will take, and therefore help the students to recall the activities that we have done. The students will not forget what they saw and did with use of these desired materials.

I really would like your support on this project!

I am writing this grant for a SLR digital camera, a laptop, a small digital camera, and the accessories/lens too. My classroom is forgotten most of the time because it is the special education classroom. It is not the top priority. When funding this project, you are helping disabled students learn more about our world.
