My Students

Help us keep from getting tangled up in wires and computer equipment with a computer table.

My students are at a very low income school.

There is very little money for things for our classroom. We are blessed to have computer equipment. I am new to this school this year and I don't have a lot of the equipment that some of the teachers who have been here a long time have acquired. I have a small classroom and our main classroom computer is sitting on three student desks and is very hard to work at. I am afraid to let my students us it, because it is unsteady and lots of wires are hanging.

My Project

With an computer table to replace the mess that is there now, my students will be able to use the main computer as well as the computer station in my class. The main computer is hooked to the Smart Board and work that the students do on the computer can be displayed on the Smart Board. I also have a printer, document camera and VCR that are all trying to share space with the computer. The table would be big enough for all the equipment. It is really hard to use the document camera on top of a VCR.

The whole computer area is unsteady and there are a lot of wires hanging.

I really don't like the students to be near it because it could fell or they could get tangled up in the wires. I'd like for my students to have access to all the technology we have in my class.
