My Students

Do you remember the first time you played a game on your computer, text someone from your cellphone, or sent your first email?? Well the new generation of students are doing these same things but at a much younger age. The new generation of children are being educationally challenged by technology.

I have a class of 18 students who are very eager to learn.

They attend a school that nurtures and fosters their learning from the minute they walk in the door til the minute they leave. Some of our students go home to an environment where education is not always valued and they lack the materials to continue their child's education out of the classroom. Any materials that grabs our students attention and keep them engaged are a necessity to their educational growth.

My Project

Last year we were lucky enough to have each classroom funded to receive a Smart Board Interactive White Board. It has been amazing to see the way that the students are intrigued by the activities, videos, books and programs we are able to access through our Smart Board. Technology is a tool that we use to gain the interest of the students as we reinforce key concepts. The interactive programs that teach key concepts in Math, Literacy and Science will be utilized daily.

Your donations to this projects will give my students the chance to unlock their technology driven minds and foster their learning in a 20th century way.

Every donation is one step closer for my students to gain tools and resources that would not be obtainable with you!
