Kindergarten Trikes

My students need a new trike for the kindergarten yard.

My Students

Usually kindergarten recess is a chance to climb on a tricycle and ride around the yard with your best friends. This year all of our trikes are broken, so that is not a choice for any of our sweet kindergarten students.

My students are as diverse and eclectic as the world we live in.

We are a small magnet school in California that has a mission to look at the world through the lens of diversity. We are proud of our differing ideas and cultures and we love to learn about each other. Parents are welcome at our school and are found all around working with teachers and staff to make this school a wonderful place to learn.

My Project

In this day and age my students are often not able to ride tricycles around in their own neighborhoods. They look forward to being able to ride trikes at school. We have not been able to give them this opportunity this year because of broken equipment.

The children have opportunities during the day to be outside.

It will be wonderful if they can ride tricycles for exercise and fun. This new trike will help all of the children learn to share and ride.
