My Students

Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success" said Henry Ford. The children in my classroom need materials to practice working cooperatively during center time.

I teach first grade in an Oklahoma school that values teaching to the multiple intelligences.

Learning is a social process in our classroom. The children in my classroom love to work together but need opportunities to practice learning social skills from each other. They enjoy working with each other as they learn and develop as individuals and as a class.

My Project

I am requesting Melissa and Doug resources including a donut, sweet treat tray, and slice and bake cookies for children to use at our dramatic play center. Children love having dramatic play set up as a bakery and these resources will help children's creativity and oral language development as they work at the center.

Play is important work in our classroom.
