My Students

We are in a new age of technology where smartboards, nooks, and projectors are used everyday for instruction. Yet, students are still required to complete written assignments. My students are ready to complete this challenge yet cannot because they do not have a pencil or a pencil with a point.

I teach a wonderful group of 2nd graders who are very eager to learn and complete new tasks.

As in many schools I have some students who come prepared to class with supplies, and then there are many who are unable. Having a pencil would make them prepared when leaving home, but after arriving at school and the pencil breaks makes them face difficulties. Now, they must find a way to sharpen their pencil.

My Project

My students want to complete tasks and have finished products. Having a pencil sharpener and pencils will help us reach our educational goals in all subjects across the curriculum. The students will be able to see their work and feel prepared throughout the day at school. A pencil point that now breaks through out the day is not stressful anymore because the student can now fix the problem by sharpening their pencil.

By donating a pencil sharpener and pencils my students will now be able to learn and complete educational tasks without stress.

Now having no point can be fixed with ease! Please help us continue to learn and practice the necessary skills of 2nd grade.
