My Students

When I was in elementary school I remember being on my school's morning show. I remember doing a cooking segment and making grilled peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I still like to eat them!

My students produce a weekly news show for our elementary school.

We highlight happenings around our school. We film classes leading the school in the Pledge of Allegiance. We take pictures of music programs and show these as PowerPoint side shows on the news. We've even learned how to add video to our news show by using Windows Movie Maker. All the students at our school love seeing their face on the TV in the morning!

My Project

The windows laptop that we are currently using is at least four years old. It is SLOW and often slows up in the middle of our live show! When the students are changing the PowerPoints, the computer is often slow and we have lulls in our show. That makes the students nervous! We would love to update our computer so that it is able to handle our requests. We would like a new MacBook for our show. We would like to use iMovie and iWork to produce our show.
