My Students

We all need some words of encouragement. There is nothing more meaningful than appreciation for hard work and dedication. Students are often pressured to do well and many times their efforts are not adequately compensated. They need more positive reinforcement in ways like certificates.

I teach five classes of Foreign Language and one advisory (college Prep) class.

Just like any other school, I have students who are self-motivated and that always excel. On the other hand I have some students who many times need some sort of an incentive to continue to do a good job and keep them going. I have a lot of ninth graders who can really use some motivation and positive reinforcement. Many of them need some sort of incentive in other areas like citizenship and attendance. Many of them are also involved with community service organizations and clubs on campus and it would be outstanding if they can be also rewarded with a certificate of appreciation for their dedication.

My Project

I think that we have all, at some point in our lives, received a certificate for our hard work or a special skill we possessed. I have certificates from when I was a student in elementary. They are so valuable to me that I will keep them forever. I think that students need to know that they are doing good in school by receiving a decent certificate. Parents will also appreciate if their children get some sort of reward for their work. I am requesting some professional looking certificates to reward those students who excel and to motivate those who need to keep up. Please help me get these certificates to reward and to motivate my wonderful students.

I believe this project is important because every hard-working individual should get at least some reward.

Students truly appreciate the certificates I have copied before and I believe that if I can continue to give them positive reinforcements they will continue to do a tremendous job of working towards their future and success. Thank you for helping me motivate my students.
