Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Paint our world! "Every artist dips his brush in his own soul, and paints his own nature into his pictures,” said Henry Ward Beecher. Please give my students the opportunity to do the same. My students with Autism need art supplies to be given the chance to express themselves through painting.

My K-3 students with Autism struggle with everyday tasks and communicating.

They enjoy my art class, however, do not have enough basic supplies to fully experience art hands-on. Experiencing poverty, my art class is one of the only places for them to escape into a world of their imagination and utilize an outlet of personal expression.

My Project

My students need basic art supplies, such as paint, paintbrushes, construction paper, markers, crayons, and more. My students will use these supplies to learn artistic techniques and how to express ones self. They are passionate about painting, but we do not have the means for supplies. You never know...we might have the next Vincent Van Gogh or Piet Mondrian in my class!

Your kind donation will enable my students to create masterpieces and learn to express themselves through the medium of painting.

This is a great way for students with Autism, who struggle with communication, to have an opportunity to convey needs, desires, imagination, dreams, and self-confidence to achieve success.
