My Students

Our students are craving access to more technology! Our new classroom is also in need of some basic art supplies. Hands-on science materials and some biographies for our budding classroom library will be a welcome addition as well.

The diverse student body at our high performing school consists of children from various socioeconomic backgrounds.

We have a broad spectrum of learning abilities within each classroom, including a significant number of special education students. Our school has been recognized for its achievements in providing a hands-on, child centered, academically rigorous curriculum.

My Project

Our laptop computer will be hooked up to a document reader and will provide the students with far greater access to engaging curriculum on all levels. The computer will also be used as part of our weekly Language Arts rotations and will be a valuable resource during Writer's Workshop as well. Secondly, the talented artists in our classroom will be so relieved to access to our very own set of art supplies...no more begging and borrowing for us! Lastly, the supplemental science materials will be used on an ongoing basis by the entire grade level.

The donation of these items will make a significant impact on my ability as an educator to deliver engaging, high level instruction across the curriculum.
