America's Holidays and Traditions

My students need a classroom revolving book stand and an American Holiday book set.

My Students

Our students deserve to know the story of America's traditions and holidays.

My students are eager third graders who have fallen in love with social studies.

For many of my students this year is their first time really learning the in depth story of America and how she became one of the greatest countries on the planet. They enjoy reading and listening to stories about families, communities, and businesses.

My Project

The library book stand and the American holiday and tradition book set will provide my students a rich reading experience to learn about how many holidays are celebrated throughout the United States. Students will have a real life experience with the library stands that turns. More than one student at a time will be able to check out books in reference to content that we are learning.

Your support will allow students to immediately have access to reading materials that will enhance students' ability to analyze, synthesis, and create pictures, drawings, posters, and write reports to share how America's traditions and holidays affect their everyday lives.

You can make a difference. Your support is vital. Students will make connections from text to their everyday lives.
