Ms. Wesley from Louisville KY is requesting supplies through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need pencils, a pencil sharpener, a printer, and an easel in order to keep our classroom going strong!

Do you remember what it was like to be a fourth grader who loved to write and share your ideas? My students are emerging authors and innovative thinkers who need basic school supplies to keep our enthusiasm going!
My students attend one of the most diverse schools in the Louisville, Kentucky area.
They value learning and take full advantage of academic opportunities. The students in my class are each smart and caring in their own unique ways. Coming from low socioeconomic backgrounds, many times all learning needs are not fully met; however, my students appreciate what they have been given.
My students need pencils, a pencil sharpener, a printer, and an easel in order to keep our classroom going strong! With these resources, my students will be able to move through each step of the writing process (brainstorming together, pre-writing individually, word processing, and printing for publishing). This has been particularly challenging for us so far but with the addition of these resources, we will be able to efficiently and effectively progress through the writing process. My students and I are requesting a pencil sharpener, pencils, a printer, and an easel in order to keep our classroom going. We will use these items to help guide us along the writing process and prepare our writing in order to be published!

I have worked tirelessly to provide all that I can for my students and will continue to do so. Your donations will make a tremendous difference in the lives of my students. They will not only be able to publish more of their work, but they will also understand the value of giving and receiving!
