A Rug to Help Students

My students need a rug to help define our meeting area. Student will know where they can sit any time we are at group time.

My Students

Oh where, oh where can I sit... My students are left wondering where is a good spot for them to sit at group time with no boundaries helping them to understanding our group time spot.

My students are passionate learners.

They love reading, writing, and are up for any challenge. They cover a wide range of levels and skills. They are an active bunch. We do a lot of learning through movement. They love singing and dancing around the room.

My Project

Our room is full of character but our group time space is lacking. We are in need of a rug to help define our space. This will let students know where a good spot to sit is and if an assigned seat is needed it will would be easy for them to find it.

I have been teaching for three years and it seems a silly to need for the room a rug for our group spot.

By having this rug it will tie the whole spot in together. We spend a lot of time on the floor in this area reading, writing, doing smart board and whiteboard activities. This rug will give my students a sense of personal space and make this space a little more special.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
