My Students

Learning about countries, states, how to spell, and body awareness in physical education class? These poly spots and integration equipment will show the importance of gym class.

My students come from low income, single parent homes.

My students are eager to learn new activities but are very energetic and need constant movement. Our test scores are very low compared to the district and teachers are continually looking for new strategies to increase these scores and increase student learning.

My Project

With the purchase of these integration activities, my students will experience a new way to learn about states, spell words, or learn the continents without sitting at a desk. My students will visually see a state and recognize the shape, where it's located in the US, and some facts about each one just by providing quick and easy running, jumping, and other movement activities.

As a collaborator, I see myself as an addition to the classroom.

I am constantly asking the classroom teachers for lesson ideas and topics to include in my classroom. This integration equipment will provide a great way to include movement learning and discussions to increase learning and test scores.
