Keeping Math Counting with Today's Technology

My students need a LCD projector to use with our math curriculum which has amazing computer technology that I am unable to use without the projector.

My Students

Our school is trying to keep up with technology. We have laptops, but do not have a projector to allow students to learn by seeing examples come to life. It can be used in many curriculum areas. Our curriculum is full of technology that we can not access without a projector. Please Help!

We are a large school district in Oklahoma that is trying to keep up with the technology of today.

However, with cost so high and the amount of money given to our district so limited, we are unable to keep up with the fast moving pace of technology. We have new laptop computers, but we are unable to share our learning with peers because we lack a projector. A new projector will help us in all curriculum areas. Smart boards are so costly. A projector is the closest item to it without the cost.

My Project

I am asking for a LCD projector that hooks up to laptop computers. It allows whatever is on the screen of the computer to be projected on the wall. This way students can easily see what you are doing. Smart boards are a wonderful item, however the cost is so high that we are not able to have them in every classroom. A LCD projector enables us to almost do the same thing onto a dry erase board. It is also easily moved to another classroom for other teachers to use.

It is so important for us to give the students the most up-to-date technology.

Smart boards are the ultimate item, but in today's economy, it is way too costly for us to believe we will have them anytime soon. We are just asking for the next best item. We have a new math program that has so much technology, but we don't have the technology to go with it. We need the help of others to make education more fun and current.
