Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Who doesn't like to read a GOOD magazine? I know my students love magazines. Your donations would bring the world right at our finger tips. Connecting them to an exciting new world of hot and lively current events. Students will gain understanding and develop learner centered insight while reading.

My students are active learners with a hunger to read and see the world outside their neighborhood.

It is also important to note that an overwhelming majority of our students do not have access to reading materials at home or in their community, and 96% of the students at my school receive free lunch.

My Project

Our students are fascinated by the world that is currently out of their reach. The Scholastic News and Time for Kids magazines would energize the learning! They can learn about current events, different place and cultures without traveling a step outside the classroom. With all the educational cut backs the opportunity's for field trips are limited. We can travel all around the world with these magazines. Please help me energize the learning!
