This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We are lucky enough to have a color printer in our classroom. However, replacing the ink cartridges once a year costs about as much as my classroom budget! We have no extra technology money to help pay for these, so we are asking for your help.

Many of my students come from homes with parents who have less than a 6th grade education because they come from countries where a free public education is not available.

Most don't have computers in their homes. My students are very inquisitive and enjoy creating projects in our classroom using the amazing technology we have available. Parents are amazed by the projects these students produce. However, this comes with a price. One set of the color printer ink cartridges cost almost as much as my yearly classroom budget.

My Project

The resources I have requested will supply my classroom with printer ink for the entire year. Students will continue to be able to print graphs, informational brochures, presentations, and many other educational works that allow them to be "professional" students.

My students are proud of their work, and their parents are thrilled with the amazing projects they are able to produce.

With your help, my students can continue to feel like "professional" students!
