This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many students today are interested in technology and want better access to computers. They are beginning the research process and this computer would allow them to do so quickly.

My students are inquisitive fourth graders in an inner city school.

Many do not have access to a computer or the Internet in their homes. This computer and key card for activation would allow them greater access to be able to complete more research and get the answers to their questions much more quickly.

My Project

I am requesting the computer and key card to allow my students greater access to the Internet. Many students do not have access to these materials in their homes and school is the only place to be able to complete research and get quick answers. Through the use of this computer, more students will be able to access the Internet quickly and without a long wait in the classroom.

Technology is changing at a rapid pace and so are our students.

Many students enjoy the access to the Internet that a computer gives them, but do not have it readily available to them. Through the use of these materials, you would be able to help a child become more fluent in technology in this rapidly changing world.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
