My Students

As the school technology teacher, I like to expose students to cutting edge technology even if it is not available in the school setting. I brought my personal iPad to school and you should have seen the student's eyes light up!

My school has almost 900 students in kindergarten through fifth grade.

We are a suburban elementary school in North Carolina. Curiosity is valued and at our school, answers are often the beginning of the discussion, and technology is integrated into all areas of learning.

My Project

Steve Jobs called the iPad magical, and if you see it in the hands of a young learner you would agree! I know that an iPad could be used by each and every student in our school, but I most want our at-risk students to have the opportunity to learn with the aid of an iPad. Apps are available for every subject, for our primary students and for our upper elementary students.
