Our students attend a suburban elementary school in North Carolina. A reason this project is so necessary is that a large percentage of our students are not North Carolina natives. Many know very little about our state and many have not traveled out of the Piedmont region of our state. While we many not be able to take actual trips to the Outer Banks or to the Appalachian Mountains, with a book we can travel there without a bus!

About my class
