My Students

Have you ever made a great design and never could see the final results of your hard work. Exploration in General Technology is in desperate need of a new network color printer.

Our school consists of ninth and eight graders in our building.

It is a very diverse student body. All students are dependable, responsible, honest and courteous. The mission of the School is to provide a strong developmentally appropriate academic and vocational skills base in a safe environment concentrating on developing the intellectual, artistic, emotional, physical and social skills necessary to ensure success in a competitive society.

My Project

My students need a new full-color network printer. To have a full color network printer would be just amazing. This would allow all of the Technology Learning Units to print out their design, plans, and other materials. It would give students the chance to get instant feedback on their designs.

Since our current Network printer is not working we currently do not print out students' drawing or plans.

In order for our students to get projects we must save them to a flash drive, bring them to my computer, then print them to the Teacher work room. Students suffer from the lack of instant feedback. With a new printer, students will more likely have a higher completion rate and better performance with their Technology Learning Units, and have the ability to see their work first hand.
