My students need new science tools for our Science Center such as magnets, discovery kits, test tubes, eye droppers, flashlights, a pocket chart stand and safety goggles.
"When are we going to the Science Lab?" That was one of the first questions one of my new students asked on the first day of Kindergarten. I knew in that moment I would have to do something to enhance the Science "lab" in my classroom.
I just began the new school year with 18 eager kindergarten students.
They are very excited about the new school year. They love reading books, art and especially science. I am excited to provide them with new and exciting science tools for our Science Center.
My Project
By providing my students with new Science equipment, it will give them the opportunity to experiment in Science Centers and have hands-on experiences during whole group lessons. My students will have the opportunity learn through "doing" science and not just seeing science.
We have just begun the new school year and I already know my students are extremely interested in science.
By providing them new and exciting Science equipment, I will be able to provide opportunities for them to explore their curiosity and enhance their hunger for science. Together, we can help "grow" future scientists!
