My students need these basic supplies including pencils, erasers, glue, and posterboard to work through the school year on various projects and daily assignments.
Can you imagine not being able to complete your daily work or project because you don't have the supplies you need and you are too embarrassed to ask for the materials?
Our school is a school that has a high number of free and reduced lunch students and many cannot afford even these basic supplies to complete their work or projects.
Many of them have parents struggling through this economic challenging time. But my students are eager to try anything if given a chance.
My Project
With these supplies our students will be able to complete their daily work and their projects. With the color pencils, poster board and glue specifically they can create colorful and exciting Ecosystem projects or their various Social Studies projects. The folders will help my 6th grade students stay organize so as not to loose important papers or homework.
Our students are in desperate need of these basic supplies.
Without them many of them would come unprepared for their daily tasks or they could not be as creative as they need to be with their projects. For many of them they simply cannot afford to buy these supplies and it is getting harder and harder for myself to supply these basics.
