My Students

Our students are constantly be bombarded with information. We want to focus on them learning how to read information text and extract out the information they need for projects and personal learning.

Our students come from a mixture of backgrounds and socioeconomic.

They have a wide variety of experiences, and so school becomes a place where we try to provide a rich environment -- catching up those who are behind and pushing those that need more. The variety created a wonderful environment where students learn to accept people from a variety of backgrounds.

My Project

These books will be used as part of the unit on frogs. Our students spend the year studying a variety of biomes. We attempt to connect as much of our literature with the theme as we possible can. These books will be a perfect match for students to read more about an animal from one of the biomes.

Practice, practice, and more practice makes perfect.

Having these books will be a great way for students to practice their literacy skills and at the same time be engrossed in our unit on the pond.
