My Students

With a big push on small group instruction, the problem my classroom encounters is finding the space to work!

My fourth grade class is full of hard workers and is made up of almost exactly half boys and half girls.

With this kidney table, I will be able to monitor and help my students in a variety of ways. We will be able to work as a team in an efficient and effective manner.

My Project

Right now, when we do multiple small groups in the room, people are uncomfortable and everywhere. We are in the hallway, on the floor, grouping desks together, or squished around a small table. These other places are not conducive for my students' best work. In order for these students to maintain focus and achieve to the best of their ability, they need to be offered a comfortable place to learn.

I value small groups immensely.

I invite parents to come and work with my students, however, part of the small group time is spent on organizing a place or pushing desks together. This kidney table will allow more time for learning and less time to rearrange furniture.
