Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love listening to stories on the listening center, but our listening center only works on a part-time basis.

My students are motivated and eager to make gains.

I teach at a school where many students are considered to be economically disadvantaged. We have many English Language Learners and students with special needs. My students have the drive to succeed but often lack materials which will help them with comprehension, fluency and listening skills.

My Project

My Students need a Listening Center and storage center to use to improve listening comprehension and fluency. Unfortunately, the listening center that we have only works on a part time basis. In addition, many of the books that go with our programs, come on CD, making our listening center less applicable. I am requesting a new CD listening center, organizational storage bins and bags for our books on CD. I believe that this will help optimize learning time.

Please help me help my children enjoy learning by supporting this project for a new listening center and storage center.

Let's encourage reading in a fun way that my students' enjoy. Any donation would be greatly appreciated!
