This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My kids are the most energetic students ever. They love hands on learning and anything that involves movement. Most of my students are from low income families, and many are on free and reduced lunch, which often limits their life experiences and educational opportunities.
My school is a Title I school in South Carolina.
We are very diverse in educational abilities, race, socioeconomic status, and ethnicity. My students love science. They are active learners who enjoy writing in journals, learning outdoors, and hands-on learning.
My Project
By donating to my project, you will enable me to create a learning experience for every student in my classroom that is exciting and challenging to their academic abilities. We will explore magnetic surfaces around our campus, we will read and discovery the properties of magnets through our literature study.
This project will aid my instruction on magnets for years to come.
Students that pass through my classroom will always hear of your generosity and your commitment to public education. Not only have you added to our classroom instruction, but you have passed on the torch to a future generation of scientists. May the magnetic force be with you!!!
