This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need today's technology in their little hands today. They are eager to embrace the technology around them. They just don't always have access to it. Young children love to listen to stories and use educational applications on the iPod.

My students are young and eager to learn everything that comes their way.

They do not always have technology readily available to them at home. They come from low socio-economic homes that do not always have access to technology to better prepare them for the future.

My Project

These iPods are a great resource. There are many wonderful applications that teach the children so many concepts. They can listen to stories, learn about math, science and letter knowledge. They will learn to navigate them on their own and become very comfortable with the technology in their world.

Providing the children with access to technology will better prepare them for technology that does not even exist yet.

This is a great opportunity to provide them and an experience they will not forget.
