My students need a projector so they can work on one activity while I prepare the next, watch videos, and see live computer broadcasts.

My Students

My students deserve a better use of class time than me fumbling around with various equipment when a projector would be a simple, straightforward solution.

Seventy five percent of my students qualify for free or reduced lunch and the school still cannot supply them the things they deserve.

Our school can no longer afford to renew our license with textbook publishers, so we're mostly on our own. I do the best I can.

My Project

A projector would allow my students to work on one activity while I queue up another, watch video examples of use of the language, and see live, step-by-step demonstrations of verb conjugations and activities. I would be able to take attendance quickly and spend more of my time with the students rather than with old technology.

I can see the disappointment in my students' faces each time I tell them why we cannot do the activity they wish or have enough textbooks so they can study at home.

This would give me more time to spend with them and show them that, YES, they, too, are important!
