Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We're looking for a space to be better leaders and mathematicians! We're looking for a carpet to grow!
My students are wonderful.
They are motivated, talented, and want to be good students. However, many of them are behind grade level because they have not been served by their previous education. I'm hoping that this carpet and these community circles will invest them in our goals in 3rd grade math!
My Project
I'm a teacher who's looking to develop my students both at individuals and as mathematicians. I know many teachers who have done this successfully and their key to success was community circles. This carpet will truly give us the opportunity to foster personal and academic growth. Because of my students backgrounds, they have had little time in school which is dedicated specifically to their social skills. Please contribute to their success as individuals.
This project is important because without this space we will not be able to successful facilitate our conversations and develop our classroom community.
