My Students

Find History Through Film! History can be a dry subject, help me add excitement to my history classroom through film. Many of my students learn visually. Film is the perfect supplement to the traditional textbook.

My currently have five U.S.

history classes of 30 students. Each class consists of male and female students ages 13- 14 years of age. Our school is located in California in the Central Valley. Many of our students are from middle class families, some are from lower middle class families. Our students possess a true love of learning, and strive for excellence!

My Project

I have requested films that will be used as supplemental materials in my history class. I will be able to transport my students to the key events in history with these films. Many of my students need a visual component to solidify information from the text. My student will be better able to remember in events from the text because they have seen them through film.

PLEASE... help my students learn through film!

Every child learns differently and multimedia components such as film assist visual learners. A donation will bring history alive for many students. Please help me teach my students about the history of our GREAT country. Thank You.
