My Students

My students are curious about everything! They ask so many questions.

One question they have pondered over is ... What makes popcorn pop?

At times it is difficult to answer their questions because they need visual examples. Many of them are special education students, who have special learning needs. I want to show them the answer.

My Project

My classes will need a popcorn popper, popcorn, some bags and a copy of the book The Popcorn Book for each class, along with a fun game to play. This will help my students learn the science behind popcorn popping and practice important critical thinking skills.

With these supplies I can show them what makes the popcorn pop while they have a blast learning.
