My Students

Help! Our class will be developing an original opera this year and we are hoping to document our work with a new Flip Cam! They are easy to use and my second graders will have no problem creating videos!

I teach a gifted and talented second grade class.

Our school is extremely diverse in its community. Our student population's needs range from ELL learners to the gifted and talented. Some students live with limited means and resources. Our student population is very diverse.

My Project

This year we will be creating an original opera. The class will be writing dialogue as well as music and lyrics. We will also work on set design, performance, blocking, costume design and so much more! The Flip camcorder will help us document our progress and help us with planning our performance. The Flip camcorder is easy to use, especially for young students. It is also very easy to upload videos to our class laptop! It would also be great to send home videos to family members!

The students will be thrilled to watch themselves at work on our class Smartboard! Thanks for taking the time to review our proposal.
