My Students

"Be the change you want to see in the world," Mahatma Gandhi said, and that is the hope that I have for all of the students at my school.

They face daily challenges living in an inner-city environment where they are often exposed to mature situations at a very young age.

Some of them have been hardened by the experiences they have already had, and yet they strive for a better future. My students have lived through more hardships than I can imagine and they come to me everyday ready to move forward and better themselves.

My Project

All of the staff at my school give constant verbal praise and support to our students, but we want to give more. Through our PBS (Positive Behavior Support) plan we want to be able to give actual awards to student who demonstrate the changes that we all want to see in our world.

The items that I have requested will be used to reward students who do the right thing and make the right choice despite all of the negative temptations that surround them.

They will improve student confidence and instill an even greater eagerness to continue their academic career. Our students need an even greater incentive to value the precious education that they are being given. Your donation will be just the incentive they need.
