My Students

Our school is participating in a state mandated program called: Positive Behavior Support! We need incentives for those awesome students to keep on being awesome!

Our school is an inner city school with about 91% receiving free and reduced lunches.

Our students face daily challenges withing their lives that often carries over into the classroom setting. Our students often struggle to know appropriate behavior and PBS is designed to provide the needed structure to make good choices.

My Project

Positive Behavior Support provides a framework for making good behavior choices. We would like to encourage these good behavior choices with a variety of positive incentives. One positive incentive that also serves our students basic needs are pencils. We would like to hand out an incentive pencil to students who are making good choices.

Our students often do not come to school prepared to learn in many ways.

By assisting our PBS system with incentive pencils you will be encouraging good choices and providing a much needed writing utensil. Everytime a student looks at their "Good Citizen" pencil they will also be thinking of you and your support as well!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
