My Students

Let's get cooking. We need cookware and bakeware for our accessible kitchen. Please help FEED USA!

My students have intelluctial and physical disabilities.

They are ages 14-21 in grades 9-12 and are learning life skills, such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, communication, money skills, and more, in the special education program. There are 20 students in our class, 3 of which are in wheelchairs. Please help FEED USA!

My Project

New kitchen cookware, bakeware, and accessories will help my students learn to cook and prepare meals independently, a life skill that is important every day and will be useful for the rest of their lives. Learning to cook in the classroom requires a hands-on approach for special needs students. Cookware and bakeware will make our cooking labs interactive. Please help FEED USA!

We have a kitchen with a stove, a sink, a refrigerator, and dishwasher; however, we have very few pieces of used cookware and bakeware.

The addition of these materials will enable us to improve our life-skills curriculum and labs tremendously. Please help FEED USA!
