My Students

It is difficult to teach 21st century skills with 20th century technology. Each class will have its own website to display pictures and videos of their best work. This will allow students to share with their family and friends their classwork. Each class will have a website director.

My school is located in a high poverty neighborhood with a very diverse population.

It is a magnet school for science and technology, but the magnet money is gone and the equipment is quite old. I want to use the latest in technology to keep their attention.

My Project

The great part of having a class camera is that we can take pictures at anytime when something exciting is happening. My students need a class digital camera to record exciting class experiments and presentations for display on class website. Uploading the pictures onto the web will create a sense of excitement for these students when they share the pictures with their families.

In science classes, you are never very sure when an inspiring moment or discussion will occur.

By recording these epiphanies, the students will remember their great ideas and be more encouraged to continue to think outside the box.
