My Students

Students in the 21st century LOVE technology! Budgets are tight and the fact that I'm not able to provide my students adequate opportunities to use the newest technology saddens me. My students will benefit greatly from having a LCD projector to make the use of our class computer in daily lessons.

My students are second graders in a small town in rural Wisconsin.

They are motivated and caring young children who are part of a great school community. My students work hard to do their best each and every day. We work together to make the most of the resources available to reach our hopes and dreams!

My Project

With an LCD projector in our classroom, my students will be able to share their computer presentations and writing with the whole class. We will not need to "crowd around" the computer in the room as I will be able to effectively share instructional material from the computer, so all of my students will be able to see the information being projected. My students will also learn the value of being "green" by sharing documents via the projector instead of making hard copies of all materials.

My students are attending elementary school in the 21st century, but our overhead transparency projector is far from a 21st century technology.

Please help our classroom technology catch up to the present, so my "techie" students can thrive and learn effectively!
