My Students

Do you want students to have the opportunity to experience the Internet for financial resources? Did you ever notice the pop-ups advertising loans, credit cards, etc. Wouldn't it be nice to show/teach the students about such advertisements?

My students come from a diversified background, Title I school.

Many homes in the area are facing foreclosure or have foreclosed. I teach a financial algebra class, and there are so many awesome resources available on the Internet, but I am unable to do so technologically.

My Project

My students would learn how to responsibly understand credit and loan advertisements via the Internet. We would use the audio equipment to allow for interactivity. How can someone learn without doing? The document camera will allow for interaction with the class.

I teach five sections of financial algebra.

The seniors are going out into the real world with no clue about financial responsibility. Without resources such as requested, how can they read the fine print when committing to credit, mortgage, and loans?
