My students need snacks for the school day so they can keep up their energy and keep on learning.

My Students

Help our Kindergarten students to grow their brains by filling their tummies! Our Kindergartners can get onto the bus as early as 5 am, it is a very long day and they get really hungry.

Our school is a Title One school located right off the Navajo Reservation.

We mainly serve the Navajo population and many of our students who live on the reservation. Many of our students come from homes with dirt floors, no running water, and no electricity. With the high rate of unemployment on the reservation families are financially unable to give their children snacks for the day.

My Project

These snacks would allow our students to have enough energy to keep on learning throughout the day and GROW THEIR BRAINS! If we can make sure they get a snack they will be able to better focused and really build the fundamental knowledge necessary for them to go onto the first grade and continue to be successful throughout school.

This project is important because our Kindergarten students are given very few breaks in life.

And if we can give them the smallest thing like an afternoon snack they will be able to keep up their energy and learn even more in the exhausting afternoons.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
