My Students

How can a book be exciting if you can not see them?

My 21 students are from a rural Oklahoma school.

The students are very creative and enjoy looking at books! Our school is small and limited on funding, like many others! My students are very excited about learning and enjoy coming to school!For most of the students this is their first year to come to school!

My Project

Literacy is a high priority in a lot of classrooms and at every grade level. Students begin learning the basics of literacy at a young age and books are enjoyable to them! The new display case for the books will allow students to have easier access to the books and the books will provide literacy into their hands! The students will learn the importance of books and how to treat them!

The project I am requesting is important because it will provide my students with a necessary means of seeing and viewing a variety of literature!

The project would help not only the students I have now but also the many more to come into the classroom!

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
