My Students

Do you like Math? I want my students to love Math and all it has to offer. Counting, graphing, problem solving and patterning are just a few of the early skills we learn in Math that are very important to our everyday lives.

I teach 23 eager-to-learn kindergarten students in a small community in Kansas.

Young children love touching to learn about their world. I try to have a variety of materials available for them to learn about this GREAT BIG WORLD. Math manipulatives are just one of the great ways to learn more about how math plays an important part in our world!

My Project

I want to be able to have my students have the opportunity to practice and reinforce math skills at both school and home. The instant Math Centers can be used by the students in small groups or independently in the classroom. I will also be able to use the activities to send home with the students that may need extra reinforcement and may not have the resources at home to practice. Thus, sharing the excitement with their family about Math!

Currently, I do not have the resources to send home with 23 students.

This will allow me to be able to use the activities in the classroom and send activities home with the students. And who knows, maybe the TV won't have to be on that evening as the family enjoys the Math!
