My Students

Some students lack smartphones or text messaging to be able to participate in our online course. These netbooks would support students without these resources. For this reason I am participating in Chevron Classroom Challenge.

Berkeley High is an extraordinarily diverse high school.

Our students represent a truly inclusive picture of what our communities can be. The students impacted by this project will be graduating seniors. For this reason I am participating in "Chevron Classroom Challenge".

My Project

By providing these netbooks students without a smartphone and in many cases without Internet or computer access at home will be gaining valuable experience participating in our on line world. Since much coursework is web based it will allow these students to gain technology skills as part of the course goal of achieving 21st century skills goals. This is why I am participating in the Chevron Classroom Challenge.

These netbooks will create a classroom atmosphere of interactivity and inclusiveness.

Providing graduating seniors with experience in online course work and 21st century skills are vital skills in our online world. For this reason I am participating in the Chevron Classroom Challenge.
