Making More Microscopic Study in Life Science Classes

My students need 8 microscopes to work with partners instead of in crowded groups.

My Students

I can't forget my first microscope that my father gave me. I observed the micro cosmos with it to learn new things. I would like to provide the same opportunity to my students, so that they can experience it themselves.

I try to make science much more attractive for the next generation.

My students are eager to learn more about living things and science. When they observe the microscopic things that they can't see with their eyes, they are surprised with the small world around themselves.

My Project

The resources that I am requesting are going to help my students work in smaller groups and experience the study of the small world around themselves. The basic subjects of life science require the use of microscopes, especially at the beginning of the semester. The very first chapters are about the scientific study method and cell study where we would like to experience the investigating of new things around us by using certain tools. Microscopes are the major tools of the study of life science. By using the microscope, my students are going to make their own observations, show how to make a scientific study (observation), and experience the learned subjects. It is going to be used to integrate technology into our science learning process.

Respected donors, I would like you to imagine four students trying to make observations with a microscope.

Wouldn't it be better to give them an opportunity to work in pairs instead so that more students would be involved in the learning process?
