Help us be 21st century ready! My students are working everyday to prepare for a successful future.

My students are from a rural community and most come from single parent homes.

My students are extremely diverse and access to technology is limited outside of school. Many of these students do not have access to personal computers let alone other technology tools; therefore, it is critical for their future success to have access to such equipment in the school setting.

My Project

As an educator it is important to prepare students for success in the 21st century and help them to develop skills needed to be career ready. Having access to a flip camera will allow students to record their classroom presentations in order to see their professionalism and communication skills. Additionally, students would use the camera as a tool when studying the marketing unit. Students would be able to participate in the development and recording of commercials.

It is important for students to have access and knowledge about various technological tools.

The flip video camera would be one more component that they could gain knowledge about. Having access to such equipment would also allow for enhancements of their multimedia presentations.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
